PORRO

The Provincial Budget Office, Provincial Accountant, Provincial Treasurer, and the Provincial Planning and Development Office, as members of the Local Finance Committee (LFC), are primarily responsible for the Public Financial Management (PFM) of the Provincial Government of Occidental Mindoro. The Provincial Budget Office submitted the Local Expenditure Program for CY 2022 to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan on October 14, 2021. The Appropriation Ordinance No. 01-A was later approved on June 3, 2022, and reviewed by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) MIMAROPA on July 19, 2022.

2023 Annual Budget

The Local Finance Committee (LFC), through the Provincial Budget Office, consolidated the 2023 Annual Budget of the Province of Occidental Mindoro and submitted it to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan on October 13, 2022. The Sangguniang Panlalawigan approved the 2023 budget under Appropriation Ordinance No. 4, dated November 2022. The approved 2023 Annual Budget amounts to TWO BILLION ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY MILLION SIX HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETY-FOUR PESOS (PhP 2,170,650,694.00).

General Support Services Accomplished

• Conducted inspection on the delivery of goods and services.
• Prepared e-SRE for submission to BLGF and the Department of Budget and Management.
• Prepared Public Financial Management (PFM) Report for submission to DBM.
• Assisted the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in the review of 11 Annual Budgets and 23 Supplemental Budgets of component municipalities.

As part of the Local Finance Committee, the Provincial Budget Office also prepared the necessary reports for the finalization of the Budget Performance and Financial Statement & Executive Summary – Financial Statement and Analysis for CY 2022.
